Mairangi Bay House

Project Overview

Our clients approached us with the idea of subdividing their existing property in Mairangi Bay and building a new executive home on the front site. By understanding their vision, we were able to bring together our planner, architect and engineers at the concept stage and make best use of the site to achieve the vision within the budget.

STAGE 1

Resource consent

Resource consent was challenging due to the nature of the site. Having long term relationships with consultants that understand the area meant approval was achieved without compromise.

STAGE 2

The construction phase

After completion of the extensive civil works, Bayside's team began construction. The pictures are proof of the result. Bayside's emphasis on strong subcontractor and supplier relationships made for a seamless construction programme that finished ahead of time and with flawless results. Code of Compliance was achieved first time.

STAGE 3

The handover

A handover function was attended by the people that made the vision a reality and two very happy clients. Rarely do suppliers and subcontractors get the chance to enjoy the atmosphere of the finished product and feel the satisfaction that comes with seeing the joy of clients who can now bask in the glory of what was once a dream.

The Results

A building of high quality that truly showcased all of what Bayside has to offer. We worked tirelessly with the client right from the planning stage through to the final product, enjoying a close relationship throughout the process, culminating in an arrangement where we have been privileged enough to be able to use the property as a show home for a period of time.
